Another had to have it car.  I bought this from a friend in the Navy.  He was a Chevy guy and wanted another Vette so I could not resist.  I bought the 92GT in 1995 with 26k on the odo.  Tons of mods awaiting for this beast. lol

I picked this Capri up for a good price and was going to make a drag car out of it.  This sucker had over 200k on the bone stock original motor.  I lived in Cali then and this guy and the car was from Kansas.  Its like the car and I were destined for each other. lol  Unfortunately I had to dump this one to a friend in Cali when I decided to move to Florida.  I had to change the 83 Capri also So I added a 86 Capri RS front air dam and bumper cover. And removed the factory stripes for a cleaner look.  Meeting a guard rail in the mountains of Cali helped that decision.

New toys then: Eibach Pro springs, Koni Reds, underdrive Pulleys, Hurst Shifter, 3.55 gears, K&N  Alpine Cd Changer, Phoenix Gold M44 Amp, OZ Audio Separates and Subs

1st drag race ever in Inyokern Cali.  Boy was I slooooow.  I also snapped my Hurst shifter handle in too.  I had to run home and get the stocker to finish racing.  Best times 14.80s @98mph.  As you can see by the list of mods and how low it is that it is not a drag racer. This was at 27k miles on the ticker. And only suspension mods and Exhaust.
